I’ve always been highly functioning—a strong earner, ambitious, creatively driven. From the outside, I looked successful. Inside, my financial life was chaotic. I avoided my accounts, let bills pile up, and toggled between compulsive shopping and anxiety about spending. I once lost a $7,000 client check in a pile of unopened mail and discovered it a year and a half later—too late to cash.

I was stuck in cycles of proving my worth, success, self-sabotage, and trying to out-earn the discomfort I felt around making, tracking, and managing money. I did what capable people do: I sought help. Financial advisors. Spiritual money coaches. Budgeting experts. Business coaches. Mentors. Even a twelve-step program for debt and compulsive spending. Some helped. Many didn’t.

For me, practical money tools created overwhelm. I responded with avoidance, more compulsive spending, and an inability to focus or follow through. Even when the tools worked, they didn't stick. Being neurodivergent only amplified the internal noise.

One moment clarified the real problem. A financial advisor leaned across the table and said, “Money is just numbers. What’s the big deal?” Instantly, my chest flooded with heat and shame. My stomach dropped. My body locked up. My nervous system went into a FLIGHT response. I barely made it through the meeting.

Some years later, I stepped away from my career as a C-level branding executive. Searching for deeper fulfillment, I trained as a trauma-informed somatic practitioner and nervous system educator. That’s when it clicked.

Here’s what I know now:

Money is not just numbers. Money is survival. Money is perceived worth. Money is deeply emotional.

And money problems—overworking, debt, under-earning, chaos, compulsive spending, lack of savings, or completely outsourcing your financial life to a business manager—don’t resolve at the surface. They live in the nervous system.

A Little More About Me...

Hi, I'm Danielle!

I’m an ex C-level branding executive turned certified trauma-informed somatic practitioner, nervous system educator, and behavioral coach. I specialize in money trauma and somatic shadow work, blending nervous system education and (mind-body) processes with practical behavioral change.

For years, I looked successful on the outside—strategic, capable, financially successful. On the inside, I was overwhelmed. I had learned to override my body, my instincts, and my needs in order to keep up with the pace of my life.

I had a secret. My financial life was in chaos.

Even with a solid income, I avoided my finances. That avoidance showed up as overdraft fees, credit card and IRS debt, a terrible credit score, and shopping as relief—alongside a constant fear of not having enough.

I was driven toward success AND unconsciously afraid of it.

Not because I lacked discipline or intelligence, but because my nervous system didn’t feel safe.

When I connected money to nervous system regulation, everything shifted. My money habits stopped being a mindset problem—and became trauma I could heal through somatic processing.

Is this work right for me if my income isn’t where I want it to be yet?

Yes. This work isn’t about how much you make—it’s about how your nervous system relates to money. Healing disempowering money patterns will create ease, clarity, and capacity which will help you grow your income. Whether you’re under-earning, rebuilding, or just starting to feel ready for more, this work meets you where you are.

What does “somatic” mean?

Somatic work focuses on the body and nervous system. Rather than just talking about change, we work with physical sensations, emotional responses, gentle movement, and relieving stress patterns held in the body. This allows change to happen at the level where habits, reactions, and money behaviors are actually formed.

Do I need to be “bad with money” to benefit from this?

No. Many clients earn well and appear financially successful. Money challenges are often driven by stress responses and survival patterns in the nervous system—not a lack of success, discipline, or skill. Perhaps you have plenty of money and manage it well, but have anxiety about spending it.

Do I need prior somatic experience?

No experience is needed. You don’t need to know how to “do” somatic work. Everything is guided, accessible, and paced to support safety and capacity.

How is this different from financial coaching or budgeting support?

Many clients need to restore safety and feel emotionally regulated before they can use practical financial tools. We focus on creating that safety and gently working toward money tracking and clarity. This work doesn’t focus on spreadsheets or financial strategy. We work with the nervous system patterns underneath money behaviors so practical tools become usable and sustainable.

Why do you only offer packages?

Somatic change happens through repetition, safety, and continuity. Packages provide the consistency needed for nervous system patterns to shift in a sustainable way, rather than relying on one-off sessions.

Do you offer refunds?

Because this is a relational, time-based container, refunds are not typically offered. We’ll ensure the structure feels aligned before starting.

What kind of results can I expect?

Results vary, but clients often experience reduced anxiety and indecision, less chaos and burnout, plus increased income, ease, and self-trust. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s freedom.
